This special selection of Flylines features a full set of tapers with an integral design that excels in three performance categories: castability, shootability, and durability. Castability has never been so smooth and easy. With Mastery Series lines, you gain more line control, all the way through the casting cycle. Smooth carry, taper-to-line proportion,and turnover - power vs. presentation - delicate determined casting control. SA has achieved the optimum balance of these elements by developing tapers for specific applications and tailoring them to each line weight, which increases your control in distance and presentation. Shootability is determined by stiffness and slickness. Mastery Series fly lines are made with a combination of an axially orienting polymer (AOP) and specific plasticizers that, together with superslick lubricants, create an inherent stiffness and permanent slickness that average 25 percent more than the closest competitor. That means you can cast SA lines with less effort over short and long distances.Durability is achieved by combining special AOP resin with plasticizers to stabilize the coating and prevent premature brittleness.Plus, advanced ultraviolet inhibitors retard the deteriorating effects of sunlight.You can be sure that Mastery Series line is more resistant to the wear and tear of hard fishing, giving you stronger performance now and for years to come. |
