Large Arbor technology at an affordable price: a new standard for
affordable, hybrid large arbor fly reels! The CLA Series incorporates a
superior drag mechanism that is extraordinarily smooth, heat resistant
and provides incredible stopping power.
Each CLA Series reel is designed with size-specific geometries in order
to maximize the properties of drag consistency and quick line retrieval for
each given size. The CLA is considered the "go to" reel for Anglers that
are looking for an American made, high quality, reasonably priced fly reel.
Ross has also fine-tuned the CLA 4-7 sizes with larger game in mind. The
CLAs are of course, design-consistent throughout each series, but specific
improvements have been incorporated into the four largest sizes (4-7) to

reel. Rather than simply reproducing a dated centerpin design that has been over-produced,
or otherwise technologically inferior, Ross has incorporated over thirty years of fly reel
engineering into truly novel improvements upon the standard centerpin design.
The Flow comprises precision machining, high quality bearings and a perfect balance,
resulting in a spool that spins effortlessly and without interruption. Whether you are looking
for the perfect drag-free drift, or the ability to quickly reel in line, the ultra smooth rotation of
the spool will make it effortless. Ross has also incorporated a revolutionary centerpin quick
release locking spool, smooth moving on/off cam lever switch to engage and fully disengage
the drag clicker and a unique symmetrical spool design that eliminates the need for re-
spooling line when converting the reel from left-hand to right-hand retrieve.
