Description

RIO’s Tarpon lines feature short, powerful front tapers to easily cast large flies, and are heavy enough to load modern saltwater fly rods.

The series incorporates two different designs to cover all angling situations, both built on cores in excess of 50lbs.

The Tarpon line has a mid-length head of around 40ft and is an ideal all-round Tarpon line
The Tarpon Technical line has a long head of around 60ft that is ideal for the more experienced tarpon angler and allows for long, controlled casts. The extra head length is ideal for fast pick-ups and 2nd shot casts.
