Textured surface improves handling, flotation, and mending
Microreplicated pattern increases durability
The benefits of the textured lines are numerous: increased surface area allows the lines to sit higher in the water, offering less drag, easier mending, less water spray, and easier pick-ups. Sink rates are determined by laboratory-controlled environment tests, and vary slightly with different water types, moving or still water, and saltwater or freshwater.
1. HD Texturing—Aggressive dual texturing for minimal false casts, ultimate shootability, and less drag.
2. Orvis Line ID — Quickly and easily identify your line, no more guessing. All of our lines will be printed with the taper, weight, and functionality.
3. IS (Integrated Slickness) additive is integrated throughout the PVC layer to provide lubrication for maximum distance, performance and durability.
4. Front and rear loop — Welded loops on both the front and back of the line ensure fast, easy rigging.
